Add Ons : Which ones should be required when raiding.
Last night when in SSC i noticed that some of us had certain addons and others did not. I know that with the new patch, a lot of people have chosen to put their addons on the side. Do you think we could establish a crucial set of addons we all use, if only when raiding?
Here is my list:
Pallypower - for paladins - managed who gets what buff
Omen - for managing threat
Deadly Boss Mods
Anymore you guys think that should be required for raiding?

pally power
Go to wowmatrix.com to get the wowmatrix application which works for mac or pc. This application will manage your addons. Maybe you already have it.
Pallypower had an update last night, mine is glitch free (now).

class add-ons?
Other than pally power is there anything specific to a class that is required?
I mean, personally I'd be non-functional without xperl and healbot, but the raid itself doesn't care, as long as I'm not dead last on the heal meters.
Btw, can I just say "nerf pallies"

Healing is next
yeah, your right. (not on the nerf the pallys, although i see it coming)
i do wish we all had pally power last night though, there was a lot of wasted buffs going around, just because they weren't organized. Or on top of it, a lot of people weren't getting certain buffs.
I read that Blizzard is really happy with how they have "fixed" tanking with Paladins and the Death Knight. Hopefully they wont nerf Paladins too much. They said their next project is to make healing fun to play. Sounds like healing classes are going to have some changes in the upcoming months.

heard about the change
Yeah apoligies for my pallypower being out of commission. But as far as paladin nerfs Ret is the only one looking at nerfs. They are talking about the potential of buffing holy, but no news on prot. I think the game developers are happy at what prot is doing with our 3 current tank classes. And the ret nerf is only going to be a burst damage nerf. It actually may prove to be a PVE damage buff. But of course we will see.

no worries. I'm just sulking at my inability to crack the top 2. Even tho I KNOW druids aren't built for that, I just want to be a WINNER!
