Sorry about the AWOL last night.... I had some back luck with my pc regarding secure erase programs and raid-5 volumes.

Should be back up and running by tuesday eve though.

Update, ok looks like it won't be tonight either. I'm running recovery on my raid array, and it takes a while to scan across 1800gb.

I'd like to try and preserve any data I can, otherwise I'd have formatted and been back online already.

Come back to us Beetle, its jsut not the same using another's strudel.

Hey guys, another status update.. It looks like my data is still there, it's just not listed in the master file table of the drive, so I can't see any of the files in windows, but the space is still showing as used, and the volume seems otherwise undamaged.

What I'm doing now is looking for software (likely not free, hopefully not stupid expensive) that can recover my files, and the other big problem is finding a temporary location for 1+ TB of data....

If I can't get things recovered, stored temporarily, and copied back by Saturday, I'm going put WoW on my sister's laptop and commandeer it until further notice
