Warcraft players complete over 16 million quests per day
Not including household chores.

The biggest online game in the world is bigger than you think.

During a candid speech at the Game Developer's Conference in San Francisco, former World of Warcraft director Jeffery Kaplan dropped some mind-boggling numbers on the packed house, including the staggering figure of 16,641,209 -- also known as the average number of quests completed daily by the game's 11 million dedicated players.

It gets even scarier. Since June of 2007 and March of 2009, Warcraft players have finished over eight billion quests. Tack on a few extra billion for the preceding years (the game first came out in 2004), and we're talking bailout numbers here.

The impressive stats come on the heels of a report calling the PC the 'most lucrative' gaming platform around, with worldwide revenues topping $11 billion in 2008
