Fabled, you mentioned being interested in Fallen Earth. They just started signups for Alpha testing. You need to register to their forums, then in the profile, you can request to be a tester.

I noticed with some games like Runes of Magic they are allowing beta testers to keep their characters and bring them over into the game when they release it.
