Looks pretty legit to me. If you watch any of the old "Explorer" movies there were people running around in BC zones well before BC was released (possibly even announced). Blizz loves to patch in content as they work on it.

Well Im glad Blizz just threw away the pretext of being challenging. Instead of the nerfed mobs of naxx25 they just took all the mobs out of the instances. I guess they will just have a chest at the end of the instance where you pick up your epics. lawl
